Testimony:
Beloved, I was born in Guatemala City Central America on this day in 1956. I grew up in a little village as a humble, but happy, country boy. My family was catholic; we kept the religion in the best of our abilities. In my childhood I used to help in church as asher and soon I learned the mass process by memory.
One thing that bothered me a lot was the fact that the mass it self many times was given in Latin; other thing I did’n liked was that the priest smoked like a chimney. But the worst of my tragedies was not find a real meaning about what God is. Everything there was so empty, like my soul was too hungry to know the real meaning God. This emptiness escorted me for many years without getting the real answer I was desperate looking for.
My dad died in 1969 and our home was broken as well. I went to the big city to live with my grandparents and for the next four years I went living the crazy life until those empty and wasted time lead me to a dead end with no purpose, no meaning and a great sense of sadness.
On March 19th 1973 the Holy Spirit dragged me to Jesus; I meet Him in a unique way in a Presbyterian Church. When I realized about my multiple sins, I was confronted with the holiness of God that brought a deep feeling of repentance. I confessed my transgressions and Jesus was so kind to me giving me the most important gift of my live, salvation.
From that moment on, I knew certainly that if dead should come to me at any given time, heaven was my secure destiny.
The impact the Lord Jesus made in me the evening of that particular day was so profound that the only thing I understood was telling Him that from that very moment until the end of my days, my life was not mine any longer, and I dedicated it right there to Him.
My style of life had a 180-degree change. In church, the Elders saw my dedication and devotion to the Lord, that they decided to send me to the Seminary until I graduated from there in 1978.
In church, as well, I had the sublime privilege to meet Ileen and we got married in the 18th day of the same year.
My Ordination to the Pastoral Ministry happen in November, same year.
We served to God and the Presbyterian Church in Guatemala until 1983.
Those days were so dangerous; it was the epic years of the Civil War and because of it we came to the United States of America.
The next three years we served to the PCUSA Presbyterian Church of the United States of America.
In 1986 I became to be an independent preacher/evangelist until today.
Same year I got my CDL Commercial Driver License and started working secularly as OTR over the road professional driver.
My dear wife and I became citizens of the USA in 1993.
I started publishing my music in 2004; ten CDs with more than 100 songs.
Two books are already made; a few others are in their way.
I was Studying on line for many years I had my Doctorate in Philosophy and PhD in Pastoral Counseling in 2009.
The decades had passed and here we are; one daughter, one son; one son-in-law, one grand-son and four dogs; Cutie, Vero, Panchito and Patojita. We live in El Paso, Texas. Everywhere we go, anything we do at all time… we are serving our Lord Jesus, empowered by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, bringing honor to God the Father.
